I think the movie is probably more scary than the book with that one. Pet Sematary is the other way around.

Would probably appreciate it more if I was familiar with Kubrick's work. #1 and #2 on that list are definitely on my list of must-watch movies.

Didn't get a lick of sleep on that 16 hour flight. The bitch next to me was sleeping with her mouth wide open facing me the whole trip, it smelled FOUL.

Kubrick was a brilliant film-maker. One of my favorites, for sure.

Starting to look at some destination possibilities for the holiday I get over here from mid January to late February. I wanna head to Beijing and Shanghai for sure, don't know about much beyond that, but we'll see.

Last day of work was a beauty. We ended up going for a meal which was accompanied by a lot of alcohol.

I had tempura battered prawns with a lemon and chilli spiced mayonnaise to start followed by steak (rare) and peppercorn sauce for my main. ****ing delicious and didn't cost me a penny.

We then went to a club at like 6pm, ha. I was home and passed out by 9pm. I feel AWFUL today.

Sounds like a good time. Teachers here are doing a dinner thing on Christmas Eve and possibly something minor on Christmas itself. We have to work on the 24th and 26th, so there's unlikely to be any going out that goes down.

The best of the Brits I know here will be doing the hosting that day. Should be a good day.

Had my Christmas gift exchange with my girlfriend last night. She got me a new Canon camera - so stoked. I've been wanting a new camera for a while and she got me a terrific one. She also got me NBA 2K13 and a couple of other inside joke gifts. All in all, I loved it and it wasn't anything I was expecting.
