Basically you post pictures (and a lot of time they function as a link) of anything, and it can be as simple as a babe in a bikini, your favorite athlete, or a big city at night all the way to financial tips, cooking recipes, or workout routines.

I guess the easiest way I could explain is that it's basically a mix between stumble and twitter. It's invite only, so if you guys want an invite just hit me up with your email addresses and check it out for yourselves.

I guess in the sense that it's picture-centric, yeah, but outside of that it's not really the same. Instagram uses a certain filter that gives everything an Instagram "look", whereas that's not the case with Pinterest. Also Instagram is generally pictures that YOU take, where as Pinterest is more about sharing cool pictures all across the web (which may include pictures you take).
