Yeah, it's definitely a grower. I loved it the first time I heard it, but it keeps getting stronger. The sequencing is damned near perfect.

Agreed. The second half of the album is just amazing.

The Truth is Here EP by Brother Ali is probably my favorite work of the year. Baby Don't Go, Believers (with Slug), I mean the whole EP is just dope as hell. I can't wait for his album to drop later this year, considering it's going to be a while before Atmosphere drops something new.

So I guess Budden is doing another stream from the studio. Apparently it's been going on for a nearly a day straight, but it may be on a loop or something. Right now it's only Emmany, some dude and the engineer working mastering a track.

Same. I listened to it once, but I'll wait until your done so my opinion doesn't influence you listening to it and forming your own. Not that it would or anything, but better safe than sorry, eh?

I'm always changing my thoughts about new music, but right now I like it. I guess I should listen to it more than once before I put my reaction down.

Well in that case

I have mixed feelings. I feel some of the album was forced, then he had other spots where he had some brilliant moments (his one verse on Roses, the last little verse on History, etc.). The production is great, but I thought Mos was kind of hit or miss. It's not a bad listen but it's not amazing or anything. For all those who haven't heard it and are expecting BOBS/Blackstar Mos you will be dissappointed.

Auditorium with Slick Rick is dopeness, and Priority has a sick beat. The rest of the album is meh to me.

I have started to get on a Rhymesayers binge as of late. I have been bumping Brother Ali all week, and then I started going through some Atmosphere this evening.

Talking about Rhymesayers the next Freeway album will be completely produced by Jake One and released on Rhymesayers. I can't wait.

I don't count Philadelphia Freeway 2 because that was just scraps thrown together.

Another Outkast album and a Dre 3000 solo work? I like the sound of that.

I'll check for Freeway's new album being produced by Jake One. Jake is a hell of a producer (check White Van Music if you haven't already), and Freeway has been growing on me. That should be a really sick album.

Strange Journey Vol. 1 by Cunninlynguists is awesome. It has to be up there with the best works of the year.
