Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
Bball, I assume you know about 5 Elementz, right? Mannnnnnn what an underrated group. If they stayed together, they would've made some serious noise.

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
The group with Dilla (RIP), Proof (RIP), Thyme, and Mudd? Word man that would have been dope if they stayed on track. Have you heard "The Album That Time Forgot"? Underrated album, and it's dope as hell.
Even though we lost Dilla, and Proof Detroit could still get a supergroup going that would pretty much wreck anyone else. Imagine Black Milk producing with Elzhi, One Be Lo, Eminem, Royce Da 5'9", and Phat Kat on the mic? Game Over!!! |

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
I heard the album like a year ago, and I acutally just re-downloaded it just a second ago. Without a doubt some dope *** music. It's clear Proof jacked ODB's style on Whutchuwant, but it's still dope.
Random Axe doesn't look bad with Black Milk and Guilty, throw in Sean P and that's dope.

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
They are dope too, I think it would be better if they just kept it within the city of Detroit.
What's the best album this decade in your opinion? I say Masters Of The Universe by Binary Star. The album is just perfect. |

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
I'll also throw Lord Willin into the ring. That album had FLAWLESS production, both by Pharrell and Chad both solo and together. It's almost impossible to tell Malice and Pusha apart, but it doesn't matter, they were dope the entire time. Awsome album.
