Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
Hell Hath No Fury was good, but it had little replay value too me. Some of the tracks I can listen to, but I can't sit through the entire thing like I can with Lord Willin.

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
I actually like Hell Hath No Fury a bit better than Lord Willin'. I know I'm in the minority but **** it. I love the production on that album.
As for the best of album of the decade... I don't know, there's a lot of them... Cormega - The True Meaning is dope and then if you include The Realness which actually was packaged together for a while, then damn. Last edited by sMaK; 06-19-2009 at 03:36 PM. |

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
I like Lord Willin more. I dunno the beats on the second album kinda annoyed me and I'm a Neptunes stan. All three tracks off the new album are nice though.

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
Statik Selektah announced his third album, 100 Proof (The Hangover) dropping in late August. It seems it'll be the usual suspects from the first two joints (Bun, Talib, Styles P, Reks, etc.)

The first verse used to be my old ringtone.

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
Very Nice. I could never find it for my nextel, so I had to settle for No Endz, No Skinz.
Not a lot of hip hop being released that i'm looking for til the new Royce drops next week. As promised in Coates thread I think i'm going to take a hip-hop hiatus to educate myself on some Michael Jackson albums and such. |

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
Yooooooo, for a dude that seems all serious on wax, Drake showed those comedic acting abilites in the Best I Ever Had Video.

Re: Bball's Hip Hop Discussion
I listened to that one song he had in 2004 I can't recall the name though. That video is weak. Drake's downfall is gonna be hanging with all these established artists and letting them influence his career. The producers from So Far Gone did a perfect job and should be doing most of the album. Not the Neptunes, Just Blaze, Kanye etc.
