You gotta love it! These 3 Carolina freshman (Felton, McCants, May) are the real deal. They stepped up big tyme tonight, outclassing the veteran Jayhawks. I was impressed with the way Felton ran the offense, creating open looks(and breakin' KU players' ankles) for his teammates. This looks like another typical Kansas team, loaded with All-American talent, but can't win the big game. I am glad we don't have Roy Williams as coach at UNC. He and his teams choke every single year. Nice guy, but a choke.

I think if Carolina wins against Stanford, they will be ranked in the TOP 15 in the next poll. They won by 11 tonight, but it wasnt that close. Even though Kansas was WAY overrated at #2, this was a huge win for the youngest team in America and look for them to get better each game. McCants blew by the defense time after time after time, for jams. This Heels team is so quick and they attack on both ends of the court. Sean May and Jawad Williams outplayed and out hustled the entire KU frontline. These UNC freshman are the best group in the counrty and they play like savy veterans. Dougherty out-coached Williams, giving a back-door clinic to his old boss.

Williams will continue to be haunted by the Carolina jinx, as he continues to live in the shadows of UNC basketball. He is a traitor, and he is from my hometown of Asheville, making this victory even sweeter. But KU can have him, and though we took our lumps last year, our program is proving why it is, along with Duke, the two best in the country. And nobody can tell me any different.

Last year, the Big 12 was good, but they cant win the big games that the ACC does. The ACC is consistantly winning National Championships, while knocking off Big 12 teams along the way. Maryland throttled Kansas in the tourney last year. It happens every year, and its easy to see who is the best at wining titles, which is the only way the ACC views success,

And KU is still a legit top 5 team, don't forget that.....

Lets be frank last year the Big 2 had Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas while the ACC had Duke and Maryland. Last year the Big 12 was better but this year it is the ACC all the way. Kansas is a top 5 team but they didnt play like one tonight

unc beat kansas. how does that make the acc better than the big 12? what team in the acc is going to beat texas or oklahoma? and what other team could beat kansas? in the acc you have unc, duke(way overrated at 4), maryland, georgia tech, and virginia.(i don't think i'm forgetting anyone) in the big 12 you have kansas, oklahoma, texas, missouri, and texas tech at the top. i would take the big 12 with those 5 teams any day this year over the acc and their 5 teams.

You guys...The team picked 7th in the ACC just SPANKED the team picked to win the Big 12 and by many to win the championship, and it was no fluke, KU got beat in all aspects of the game. Just because the ACC is young, doesnt mean they arent better. And if you believe Duke is overrated, you don't know much about basketball. Duke would beat ANY of those BIG 12 teams. And Maryland, Virginia, GA Tech, NC ST, Wake Forest and UNC will all be ranked in the TOP 25 this season. You guys fight all your battles on paper, the ACC does it on the court by winning NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. When did the BIG 12 or BIG 8 or whatever it was win a title last? Danny and the Miracles I beleive? The ACC has 5 National titles in 11 years! The BIG 12's mediocraty has forced it to use a different standard to measure success by. PERIOD. And Maryland beat the crap out of KU in last years Final Four, and UNC did it tonight.

OU lost to in the Final 4 to Indiana. Maryland didnt lose to anybody, THEY WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP for Gods sake. Maryland pounded Kansas by 17-20. If you dont know who won the title, your argument is pointless IMO. Only one team can win the title, and the BIG 12 hasnt in 15 years!!! Read up on your info.
