He doesnt make the sexy plays but arguably the best defensive presence in the nation and a very good post player, could shoot the midrange jumper and pass the ball, plus Kansas seems to do better when they give him the ball

Sherron Collins is having a better season. Aldrich's numbers are down from a year ago - but that could be due to several factors, mainly having a legit 3rd option in X. Henry, and off-court issues (sick grandmother who has passed recently).
Well it depends which stats you are looking at...
Cole Aldrich 16.5 points per 40 pace adjusted, 7th in the nation in Block%, 16th in the nation in Def. Rebound %, 61% TS, 30.2 PER
Sherron Collins only 21.4 PER
Watching Kansas play they seem to do a lot better when they get Aldrich the ball in the post and he is obviously the anchor of their defense (which is possibily the best in the nation)

Thats your opinion, I think Aldrich is their best and most important player, I can see how would say its Collins because he is the primary ball handler and Henry is really good as a FR but neither have as much impact on a game as Aldrich with his size/length/defensive presence and intelligent post play
