He was a punk who worried about getting his stats and very little else. He fought with his teammates. Unlike a Carmelo Anthony, he never bought into the team concept, and was not respected by his teammates.
That being said, he was a spectacular player, and the Rockets at the time, were beleived to have a steal for trading for him for the #10, #18 and #21 (Those might not be the exact picks). I thought it was a steal too, thinking that Griffin should have been higher then a 7.
Looking back the Nets picks of Jefferson, Collins and Armstrong are much better then Griffin, who seems to content with hanging outside.
