Pacers could be good this year, or fizzle

Posted 10-11-2008 at 03:20 PM by DienerTime
One of the dark horses in the NBA, the Pacers could be really good, or really bad. This depends on health, as well as the play of Danny Granger and Mike Dunleavy. If the Pacers can have a healthy year and mesh the way Larry bird and Jim O'Brien believe they can, then we should have a good season, with 6-8 in the playoffs the ceiling.

If Dunleavy and Murphy cannot get healthy and Ford still has the injury bug he's had throughout his career, the season will most likely end in a high draft pick and probably a less bright future.

Which will it be? Your guess is as good as mine.

I'm guessing somewhere between the 7th. or 8th. seed if we don't have any major injuries.
