Filled with useful information about the Jazz, analysis, and mostly a homebrewed Jazz experience and sensible set of opinions regarding the team. Updated frequently throughout the year.
I am adding Jazz analysis video to youtube and posting it here, as well. Throughout the season I plan to do analysis on Jazz happenings whether it be transactions, game insights, offensive and defensive breakdowns... whatever I find along the way, basically.
Without further ado, here's my 2008-09 Utah Jazz video preview.
Deron's Ankle Injury
Well, we've got an update on Deron Williams. Word has it that he'll be out for at least 2 weeks, making the earliest return on that timetable November 3rd against the Clippers, in LA.
Well, Deron picked a good time to go down with an injury - almost as convenient as Boozer fracturing his leg last season and missing the all-star break. Williams will miss 2 regular season games if everything goes according to plan, and those two games being a home game against Denver, and a home game against the Clippers.
What's ironic is that a couple of weeks ago I was telling my wife "this year is the year we can afford Williams to go down for a few games, with Price and Knight on the roster (instead of Hart)".. and look what happens. Maybe I should keep my big mouth shut, eh?
Well, not much else is happening. I'm looking forward to the home opener against Denver since it is confirmed that the Jazz will be doing "lights out" intros at the Melta Center. I don't know if they did them in the first preseason game because we arrived late. If they wind up doing so for the final preseason game (Thursday vs Portland), I'll be sure to take some pictures.
As usual, comments or requests for future additions are always welcome. Thanks.
