Re: Currently Reading
Ok I havn't seen the movie or read any books so, why are girls so in love with Twilight? Is it a lot of romance-drama intertwined or something? I kinda got that impression..

IT is a very good book, and you should read the stand at some point either during or after The Dark Tower, as it has many tie-ins. So do several other books of his I'd recommend for completion, including IT, Eyes of the Dragon, the FIRST half of Hearts in Atlantis, Desperation and the Regulators, Salem's Lot, The Talisman, and the Black House (which might be my favorite King Book, aside from book 3 of the dark tower.) This week I finished book 1 of the Tawny Man Trilogy by Robin Hobb, Fool's Errand, The Last Continent by Terry Pratchett, all of the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher up to Small Favor, and am now re-reading Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett

Re: Currently Reading
I'm getting into the Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child books. I read Reliquary and loved it...I really like Aloysius X. L. Pendergast, PhD...And I didn't realise he was part of a series...Yes!
I have Relic right now...going backwards before moving ahead. And Star Wars: Patterns of the force...the 3rd and final of the Coruscant nights Trilogy. Oh and I'm also fitting in Expansion and American Indian Policy 1883-1812 by Reginald Horsman On a side note...if you like star wars at all and even if you just like good writing...Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor by Matthew Stover is Brilliant. |

People who don't read much and who have had little exposure to good writing are easily impressed by anything that is easy to read and which has a fast-paced storyline. They pick up these sorts of books in the first place because they hear that they are popular. They are popular because they appeal to these sorts of people, of which there are a great number. |

Lucifer by Mike Carey
(Interestingly enough, supposedly Neil Gaiman came up with the whole Lucifer Morningstar concept when writing The Sandman)

Re: Currently Reading
I just ordered Tucker Max - I hope they serve beer in hell of Amazon.
It best live up to the hype. Although in all fairness all the hype came from the author himself.
