Have you read any Asimov? Check out his robot series. (If you're into sci-fi).
Not into sci-fi. Have read the "Space Odessey" series, though. I do like Ray Brandbury, but I don't read his books as science fiction anymore. Fahrehheit 451 is one book I like a lot and Martian Chronicles is a class in its own.

Cool, cool. Fahrenheit 451 is actually being remade (the movie), and Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption) is the director. I'm normally not in favor of remaking classics, but this could be interesting with the right cast, as they already have agreat director on board.

I haven't read Martian Chronicle, but have heard about it. I need to pick it up some time.

Wow, I didn't know that. Have they picked up the cast yet?
The message conveyed in the book is still relevent today. Less so ofcourse than during the McCarthy era.

No cast yet. IMDB has it for a 2005 release, though.

I read Hamlet about every three years or so. Love it.

My favs: 'Red Badge of Courage', 'Lord of the Rings', any Easy Rawlin's mystery by Walter Mosley, 'Life of Pi' and the 'Invisible Man' by Ralph Ellison

OT: I love Kenneth Branaugh's version of Hamlet.

I heard Mel Gibson was going to be in it or something.

My favorites are Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte or Slapstick by Kurt Vonegut. A Prayer for Owen Meany is fantastic as well.

Cat in the Hat

Actually the only one by Stephen King that has not freaked me out is his best for writers On Writing

It really shows you how to get into the business, and what sort of things that you should do.
