d-town vs. Bean-town

I expect this game to get very high ratings, being that its on espn and everyone wants to see on live tv if the Mavs are as potent as they comer across on thier daily newspaper. Also Boston finally is clicking and who wouldnt want to end an undefeated streak on national tv. Both teams should be greatly fired up and I expect this to become a shootout because both teams love to run. Theyll probably grind it out the 1st quarter pretending theyre worried about D. but some back to back treys from both teams will end that mentality. I still see the Mavs winning : 113-102 Random thoughts?

The mavs losing by 14!!! hmm Id be willing to take that bet. I say for the whole season no one beats them by more than 9.

Two of the L's hottest teams going at it tonight. It Should be a high scoring Run-N-Gun slug fest. Both teams can light it up once they get going and it shouldn't take long at all. Mavs should take this one with their BIG 3 doing their damage.

No doubt that the Mavs should kill them I mean no way walker can guard dirk and nash will shred the Celts pgs that being said the mavs can't go 82-0 its just impossible so I think the celtics actually pull this one out.

The Mavs are the best team in the league right now and I just watched why??

Dirk is a one man clinic (34 pts) He just took it to the C's inside/out with his sweet fade away J. Bradley had a block party (5 blks) making all of his shots. Walt was hitting some big 3's and Fin and Nash did their thing. This team has expanded with soo many weapons that will beat you in many ways.

The Mavs D has improved. They really put the clamps on Pierce, He really struggled and the Mavs collapased on him all night, much credit to the Mavs on that game plan. This team is on a serious mission and the league hasn't seen it all just yet.

I really wouldn't say the Mavs D has improved, Pierce has been playing horrible all season long, thats not the P we know.

On the other hand I hated the referees in the first 3 quarters whenever we made a run the referees called some stupid calls on us.

Yeah the game was reffereed good in the 4th quarter.

The Mavs are a very good team but not awsome. But they are missing 'Frenz and Nick.

@Memphis (119-108)
Phoenix (97-83)
Golden State (107-100)
@Toronto (106-92)
@Chicago (114-87)
Detroit (114-75)
Portland (82-73)
@Cleveland (103-99)

Take a look at the teams they played, thats not good. Well only Detroit and Boston are the good ones, and Portland is not bad.

ok but they locked the C's down out the gate and evn though you may call the schedule weak they are still undefeated weak schedule or not. Missing 2 key players while the Lakers, Kings and Pacers are only missing one. Plus the Margin of seperation point wise I mean against most of the teams has been amazing.

The Mavs did lock down pierce. He only hade 2 shots the whole game without a hand in his face. The Mavs can play D.

Mavericks have said they want to be in the middle of the pack when it comes to defense. They played a zone but if people would drive they would let them by so Bradley could block their shot. The key to break their zone is to hit midrange jumpers, but the Celtics were shooting cold last night.

I wouldn't be too worried about it. They had a big streak going so somewhere along the line there has to be a letdown. They didn't hit the jump shots that they had to while Nowitzki hit just about everything.
