I've been keeping an eye on Seattle news sources and the Sonics were not actively looking to trade anybody right now. WE have team chemistry going right now and many of us Seattlites expect that Ray is gonna be a Sonic next season. Here is a local article that talks a bit about what was going down yesterday in Seattle - not much.

I appologize for missing the attack in the quoted post. I do appreciate that you avoided responding with a similar attack ---agoo

Would you go for something like this?
Portland trades:
PG Nick Van Exel (11.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 4.3 apg in 30.9 minutes)
SG Derek Anderson (9.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 3.0 apg in 27.3 minutes)
Portland receives:
SF Paul Pierce (21.8 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 4.1 apg in 35.8 minutes)
C Raef LaFrentz (11.3 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 1.2 apg in 27.9 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +12.2 ppg, +8.1 rpg, and -2.0 apg.
Boston trades:
SF Paul Pierce (21.8 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 4.1 apg in 35.8 minutes)
C Raef LaFrentz (11.3 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 1.2 apg in 27.9 minutes)
Boston receives:
PG Nick Van Exe (11.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 4.3 apg in 30.9 minutes)
SG Derek Anderson (9.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 3.0 apg in 27.3 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -12.2 ppg, -8.1 rpg, and +2.0 apg.
TRADE ACCEPTED
How about if we also traded draft picks or even just threw in our pick?
NVE has some sort of team option that doesn't become guaranteed until something like Jan. 10th. DA has two more years left, but two less that Raef.

I wouldn't do that trade for LaFrentz straight up. Okay, maybe I would to get rid of his salary, but come on man, you have to be out of your mind.

Probably the most one sided ludicrous disgusting trade proposal I've ever seen on this board and I've seen some doozies.
Obviously was hallucinating.

Nope. The Tim Thomas deal is only good because there is two expiring contracts. Derek Anderson still has two years left. Raef is much more valuable than Anderson and Pierce is still a star.

I love the Portland fans
The Portland team, their management, and some of their fans always are good for a laugh. Hilarious!

Fair enough, but a high draft pick as well wouldn't be enough to offset DA's salary?
Thanks for giving my proposal a more thoughtful reply than the other Celtics fans.

I don't want to trade Pierce not only because he is my favorite NBA player but that he will just keep getting better because he will be happier that Walker is back....Anyways it doesnt matter for this season since trade dead line pasted about a week ago, so your safe for now Pierce....
