Man, am I glad Danny Ainge IS IN CHARGE
No, Fenway, I am not in charge, thank goodness. Danny Ainge is. He inherited a tough situation and has made the best of it. Continue to attack me, let out all that youthful piss and vinegar. Or go TP somebody's house or whatever it is you do. But please, do not question my knowledge of the game of basketball.
What I meant by Al not being attached to it, and I think others of you can attest to this, is that Al requested another number, and I believe that number had been retired by the organization. He will gladly give Antoine the number.
And no, Antoine will not get blamed if he continues to play like he is. But the reality is, that playing on 3 teams in 18 months and shooting the percentages he is means that he will not be considered a max player this summer in free agency. He will have to come down quite a bit, if he wants to stay in Boston or otherwise. Fenway, are you willing to bet your allowance on what Antoine will command in free agency?
