Why? cause now if we dont get GP Kenny was gonna be our back up, now if we dont end up getting GP we have to play Banks who is a rookie when we are looking for a vet to run the offense, even though I think Banks would do a decent job at point, Coach wants a vet soooo, we better get GP, we are still waiting for the Hawks to put him on wavers....

Delonte is the starter, Banks is the back up. The good thing is, when/if we do sign Gary, we can play Delonte at SG for a while (thanks to Jiri's 20 minutes) and Banks can back up GP.

We will also need to limit GP's minutes. Give him about 25-28, and hope he'll be ready to go in the playoffs.

Yes, but many teams are after GP we very well mite not get him back, but yes if we got GP it would be very good because we could put West at Shooting guard, but if we over play Payton to try and get a advantage in the playoff picture he mite be tired out for playoffs, so yes i agree we cant play GP to much...and we got West and Banks to back him up so that shouldnt be to much of a problem having him not play as much time....

Banks is not a rookie

but you know what i mean we need a vet to handle the ball Banks is only 2 years pro but GP is a vet and thats wat we need or Kenny is a vet too but it looks good for GP now

I for one am THRILLED that we didn't get Kenny Anderson, he's TERRIBLE....he wasn't even playing on the Hawks that ought to tell you all you need to know. I will be very very very thrilled if we can get GP back. If we don't I'm sure Danny is looking into what other PG's we can sign but I'm glad it's not Freaking Kenny Anderson.

No i think if its this late in the season Danny will probably just have West or Banks at Point, thats just my thought of what I would do and what I think he will do if we dont get GP....But I do think that we will get GP back cause i think he liked it in Boston and we have a shot for the Eastern Conference....

He doesn't have a choice, he has to sign someone, either GP or someone else. Our roster stands at 11 right now. That is against league rules, we have to add a 12th at the very least....we had 15 before which is the max (12 active, 3 IL)
