Walker/Webber
I saw this on like every other board, and was just wondering what you guys think.
If you had the chance, with the same trade for Walker, who would you take Webber from the Kings or Walker from the Hawks?

Re: Walker/Webber
I would say Walker. He's a decent rebounder, although worse then Webber, but has a much better shot. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Plus you got to take into acount that Chris has stumbled across an injury and may never turn back into the a star again, much less the old Webber when that is combined with his age.

Re: Walker/Webber
Now? I'd take Walker without a doubt, only because he's a heck of a lot younger than Chris Webber. Webber may still be highly effective, but he won't be for too much longer. I'd rather have a player that we will have for the future, not a short-term rental. See: Gary Payton.
However, if we are referring to the two in their prime, then it's Webber hands down.

Re: Walker/Webber
I would take Walker for a few reasons...
1.) He is a great player, and I personally think he's better then Webber, I think Webber is 3 years out of his prime and he's not gonna make it back, in other words its all down hill for Webber, But Walker on the other hand I think he could still reach his prime this year or the next, cause now he will be with a better team and will like his surroundings more with Paul and crew....
2.) I think Walker is a great rebounder considering hes not a leaper (<---Tommy talks about this everygame) but he gets ALOT of rebounds by just boxing out and not even having to jump, I also think that he has improved his dribbling and defense, last night he had 4 blocks, which would be good for anyone and he has a quicker left hand which we saw in the game vs the Suns and Utah.
3.) Because Walker will make Pierce better and happier I think Pierces playing will improve and they both will have a better time...Also I think Walker has more cemastry with the orginazation and its fans, He has already showed he has been very classy, thanking the Boston fans for welcoming and thanking the coachs and staff for getting his back....In his words, "Its my fairytale ending."

Re: Walker/Webber
If I'm going for a regular season title, I'd go with Webber. However, this team is going to the playoffs and I want Antoine Walker because he doesn't disappear when he needs to hit a big shot. In fact, he usually hits them.
Also, for this particular team, you have to go with Walker because of the history he has with this team and with its star, Paul Pierce. He's also a phenominal influence on our young guys.

Yes, I dont think any1 would dissagree this team needs Walker to help the rookies to help pierce to help with team and to help the fans keep the faith!
Dont worry fans we still got 16 championships, best team history ever!
lets bring back those signs 34+8=17....

Re: Walker/Webber
Whether now or in their prime (walker still is I know) - I have always said Walker. Back when C-Webb was on the Wiz/Bullets, Walker always took it to him. It was Webber that he scored 50 on. or was it 49?
Antoine's heart to me has always outweighed whatever advantage in talent/ability Webber has.
When their careers are all said in done, we don't know yet what Walker will be remembered for outside of the fact that everytime he laces them up he leaves it all on the floor for the Green. To me Chris Webber will always be remembered as a tremendously talented, classic injury prone under achiever, who called the most memorable time out in sports history.

Re: Walker/Webber
It's hard to compare the 2 cause Walker is winning for reasons Webber has no control over, example alot of people chose walker cause he was once a celtic and every1 likes him, 2...Walker and Pierce are buddies and Pierce and walker play better with each other, but still i would choose walker, and also its hard to compare cause they have different playing styles....
