FleetCenter to be renamed "TD Banknorth Center"
It's on RealGM. Wow, that's a crappy name for an arena. As long as the Celtics continue to play good bball, no one will care though.

Yeah, it is the Garden. I agree X, that would be a horrible name. Although, I don't like the "TD" in "TD Banknorth Garden".

I actually like the fact that they're bringing back the history...in a way.
I was never found of the Fleet Center, but I did/do like it's nickname of "The Jungle."
Now if we only could get rid of the "TD"...

I hated the Fleet, still think it should have been named the New Boston Garden but I'm glad they at least put Garden back into it that way I can just refer to it as the garden again at long last

I don't mind the new name at all. You know everyone is just going to call it the Garden. They just want to throw their name on the building and the court for the national broadcasts.
Anyone know when its going to start being the Garden again?

Personally,
I absolutely HATE the fact that almost every stadium, arena etc, nowadays has to be a friggin' BILLBOARD.
I couldn't stand it when it was called the Fleet.
I had gotten used to and tolerated 'The Fleet' - I will say one thing though - if Fenway is ever called anything but Fenway, I wouldn't be able to even walk through the doors anymore.
Advertising in this world has gotten absolutely ridiculous. It truly annoys my Toys R Us ***.
No masking. ---agoo
