Mark Blount post-Antoine return

Does anyone know Blount's stats since Walker came back? I've noticed that the last three games he's done a very solid job in his role. Blount needs a good second half, after his very disappointing first. Just curious to know his productivity since the team seems to be clicking very well and everyone is contributing.

About time. I was defending this guy this summer as being a decent starting C. You all paid him and now he hasn't done anything. He'd better be starting to pick it up.

You're not the only one who was defending the Blount signing. It looks like he's finally got a little bit of the fire back in him. Hopefully he can just do a little more board work now.

Re: Mark Blount post-Antoine return

Blount got sent to the bench, and now he's playing with fire. Antoine is a rebounder...and Blount is playing well. Last year Mark started playing with fire and putting up big numbers when Brandon Hunter started getting attention, rebounds and minutes. I find this interesting. Whatever is causing it I'm glad to see it. The rebounds still need to go up though....Perk & Al are not getting the minutes and Toine & Raef can't be the only rebounders.

Re: Mark Blount post-Antoine return

Blount has been awesome the past 3 games. He's shooting a high percentage, he's hitting BIG shots, he's playing very good defense and you're seeing signs of emotion out of him. Now that's dangerous.

Another positive Blount thing has been his TO's. He's keeping them down as well. He's playing 5 less minutes since the Toine trade, and average almost 1.5 TO's per game less. That's a very good sign.

His rebounding, though is still down. If he were to learn to box out, I wouldn't even worry about his numbers, but he doesn't and that's what scares me.

It's interesting, but he gives the team some kind of fire power.
