Laimbeer Artical in the Herald

``I don't know,'' said Laimbeer, 47. ``Having him come back to the same team they pretty much had before when they couldn't get it done. Yeah, they added a couple of pieces but they are still a middle-of-the-road ball club that may win a first round, may not. That's about as far as they are going to go.''

I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty happy with our 'middle of the road ball club' that has won 7 of 8 since Antoine's return with big wins over Phoenix, Detroit and Washington and the only blemish being a last second loss to the T-wolves.

Re: Laimbeer Artical in the Herald

how can he say we have the same team? In 2002 we had Battie at Center, and I think LaFrentz and Blount are both better than him easily. At the point we had Tony Delk running the floor most of the time and I honestly think Banks, our third PG right now...is better than Delk. At SF you had E Will, and although he was a team leader, Ill take Pierce/Davis over Williams anyday as I see it right now. On top of all that, our bench is much stronger and younger now with Allen, Davis, Jefferson, Banks all capable of big numbers. Ridiculous opinion...
