The Celtics Season is NOT over
It is ridiculous to say that the Celtics season is over. Sure they had a weak run versus a few weak teams but this has been a problem for this Celtic team: they play to their opponent's level.
When they reach the playoffs they will be playing good teams and this brings out the best in the Celtics.
Yes, they should be at least 10 games over .500 right now if they were beating the teams that they SHOULD be beating. But there is a lot of talent in the NBA and any team can beat the other on any given night. This is a stupid way to judge a team anyway. By those standards the Lakers should only lose a few games a year. The bottom line is that the Celtics went into a little funk. If a team goes into a funk and ends up second in their division and 6 games over .500 then their season is not over. I think expectations of how the Celtics should be doing are inflated since their success last year and their early success this year.
The Celtics will be fine.

Yes!!! Too many people give up on them for 5-6 bad games. Last night was a great example of how they play to the level of their competition. And if they're hiting there threes, then they can beat just about anyone in the league.

The Celtics will be and are fine. People are getting to scared easily. Just like the begining of the season we lost two games, not to mention the franchises' worst loss, then came back and went on a 6 game win streak, this is a very good team. Is there room for improvement? Hell yeah, we got no bench right now, are playing two guys WAY to many mintues and are gonna tire them out before they are 30. I don't know about you guys think, but next season is gonna be even great, this new management is gonna kick some serious butt, hopefully, now all we are looking to do is gain even more experiance in the playoffs, we got pretty far last season with a very good team (Rodney, and Stricktland were a great loss) but we are proving everyone wrong with what was said about us before the season started. When it counts the Celtics play their hearts out, when it doesn't (Cavs, Heat, Bulls) we don't, thats the time I think we should play Twan and Pierce way less, and get the scrubs...uh I mean bench players to play more.

people who are quick to dismiss the c's aren't real fans like us..
They the type to stick with us when we're winnin, and when we get in a lil funk they're ready to jump off..
They'll be back on our next 5 game winnin streak..

I hate bandwagon fans, who jump on a team when they win and ditch them when they lose. I have a friend who was a Bulls fan and now a Laker fan, in baseball a Yankee fan.

I know how you guys feel, I got the same friends. Living in Boston, but loving the Lakers, Yankees, and Bayern (German soccer team which wins every year).
But what can you do, its not like we lost games, we were killed by everyone by at least 20 points.

I'm just as much of a Celtics fan as any of you. I am just realistic. Haven't you guys been watching the games?

Well then you must know that we don't take criticism very well.
