I hope Doc puts Perk in the starting lineup. He's the defensive presence they need inside and despite his
perceived lack of offense he's the best center on the team IMHO. I say perceived lack of offense because I think he has more offensive talent than he has had the opportunity to show yet. He hustles the whole time he is on the floor and makes the other team think twice about taking the ball inside.
I like the idea of having him and Raef on the floor at the same time because they are so different. Having Perk control the paint will allow Raef to stretch the defense. Then when you bring Blount and Big Al in Blount can hover around the foul line and hit jumpers and stay out of Jefferson's way inside. Hopefully Perkins and Jefferson can both stay out of foul trouble and get some serious minutes. In fact, i'd like to see all the young guys get more minutes. I was probably one of Marcus Banks biggest detractors last year and early this year but he has really started to turn things around and deserves more playing time. Tony Allen's stats haven't been that impressive lately, but I attribute that more to Doc taking him out before he can ever get in the flow of the game.
Please Doc, play these guys and hope they'll spark the rest of the team.
