I need some help.

I currently have Comcast, but with constant commercials from Verizon's 30 buck DSL, it's very appealing. Plus I hate Comcast.

Now my question is, have any of you switched from one to the other? If so, which one did you like better? Any speed differences?

I'm sick of paying 55 bucks for Cable only, and 140 altogether on my Comcast bill. I'd rather get a Dish and pay 40 for 100+ channels and DSL for 30 bucks if it's the same/close to same speed as Comcast.

Comcast I did not like as a internet server either, we switched almost rite when we got it. But for TV we just have cable, and I dont notes much difference, oppinions?

I switched from Verizon to Comcast, it's not that speed is that much of a difference.. because in my mind fast is fast, I'm not that impatient that a second or two will drive me crazy. The reason I switched though was because my Verizon service (might only pertain to SouthEast PA only) was crappy, times the connection would cut off for days at a time and they wouldn't tell you until you called them asking what was wrong.

I haven't ran into any such problems with Comcast.

Satellite is way better.

Wow, days at a time? Damn. One problem I have with Comcast is when I leave my computer on for like 2 hours, and come back the net will be down. I can't see any websites, but my if I were to listen to music online, or play an online game it would work. So I have to restart the computer.

So far, I don't like what I'm hearing. Comcast is fast, I'm not going against taht, but I agree 1-2 seconds difference doesn't bother me, especially if I can get it for 25 bucks cheaper.

To bad you don't have Cox around there. They are the best of the cable companies, IMO.
