I'd kill to see that. The first time Reggie went up for a shot and saw Perk coming at him he'd have to call a time out to change his underwear

Seriously though, you have to get physical with Reggie because if you are withinn 5 feet of him he's going to flop and get a phantom call so you might as well get your money's worth. Put Allen on him and tell him not to worry about how many fouls he gets, just grab him, push him, etc. and basically do everything to him that Reggie does to everyone else. If he fouls out in the first half so be it. Then put Reed in and tell him to do the same thing. Those guys have the talent and the mentality to frustrate the hell out of Reggie. of course that means that Pierce will have to at least try to stay with Jackson and he hasn't shown me that he can do that. I think Antoine has done a decent job on O'Neal defensively and Jefferson didn't do bad in Game 1 but the same thing goes for him that goes for Reggie, get physical and get inside his head. If you play soft they're going to take advantage of you and they're get every call. play tough and don't give up easy baskets!

And you're also a Pacers fan. Were I a Pacers fan, I'd also love to see Payton on Miller because Payton can't defend anymore.

This post is a joke, right? How can you deny that Reggie Miller gets away with absolutely everything? I don't know how many clips I have seen of Miller kicking his legs out at people or flat out grabbing people's arms. Several times he's gone right up and pushed the player defending him to get open. He is an impressive shooter, but he has been doing cheap moves to get open that are not getting called, which is ridiculous.

Flat out lie, first off, on the Reggie not getting any calls. I'm not making any excuses for the Celtics players not guarding Miller well -- infact, they've done a terrible job keeping up with Miller, but come on ReggieMiller8325, that one play in game two where Reggie deliberately kicked his leg into the Celtics player who was easily a good foot or two away from him -- drawing the foul -- that was a bogus call!

Reggie would probably just pumpfake, draw the foul, and drain the three anyway

Anyway, the Celtics should put their best defender on Miller, that way, SJax can score at will.

Heh. He would pump fake then Perk would drop the hammer on him and break the old man's hip.

I'd like to see Justin Reed on him. I think we should give him a shot.

Re: Who should cover Reggie?

Reed can't defend Rggie. He played 5 minutes in Game 3 and picked up 2 fouls. He'd be in foul trouble faster than you can say "get back on the bench".

Re: Who should cover Reggie?

I think the best way to guard him would be to make him play defense. If we have Allen in there, Reggie can just stand still on defense and not expend any effort. Lets go with Banks, Pierce, and Reed together. Let Pierce or Reed just lean on him and wear him out.
