The problem with Vin Baker:
He's overweight.
He's not very good.

He might not produce but you have to feel for the guy. he tries so hard and doesn't do well. It seems to me like he's trying to hard to do the right things and he makes mistakes. he seems nervous

I don't feel bad at all for the guy because
1. He plays for Boston
2. He makes 15 million a year. He shouldn't be nervous making that kind of money.
I think it was a terrible, terrible, terrible offseason trade.

Your TV must be broken if you think he's overweight.
He isn't very good, but he's learning the hardest defense in the NBA, simply put, if you don't play D, YOU won't play.

He's listed as 250, but I'd be willing to bet he's 'a little' over that.

Cap-wise? Definitly.
Talent-wise? Nope.
I don't like Kenny, or Pot, Forte might be something if he stayed here, but he didn't. I think we have a better squad then we had last year, its just that the chemistry isn't there, or here.
Nice game tonight though. I like the applouse we gave Kenny and VP, they gave us some good plays last year. I respect all three of them, but I don't wanna see them in the white uniform. Well I do, but thats just becaue I am loyal.

He might be listed as 250, but he isn't that overweight, he lost a lot of LBs this offseason. I wish he still had the weight....

Well, Shammond had more points than Kenny, V, and Forte combined last night. If Shammond, Delk, and Bremer can play like they did last night, it more than makes up for Kenny. As for Baker, I'd rather have V right now. He wasn't anything great, but he played within his abilities. He was tough, and he could hit that 15 foot jumper as well or better than Battie. Baker can't seem to do anything but dunk, and he seems to have trouble with that, too.
I understand that Baker is a nice guy and his effort is there, but the truth of the matter is that he's not really helping the team and his contract prevents them from getting some quality contributors. At least with Kenny, his contract would have been up after this year.

i aint sure if this is right but i think the old owner traded kenny for vin cause it meant less luxary tax payment this year for him in case he didnt find a buyer. stupid move though and he hurt the franchise. screwed up team chemistry and gave away an expiring deal.

You're right, except Gaston (the owner) didn't care what happened to the team. Hell he never did, I don't think he attended one game.
