Less than 48 hours till draft time...
Hey guys, I think we need a new thread for who the Celts should get with the 18th pick. I am assuming we keep the pick. No reason to explain why we should pick Mr. X, lets just keep it short and simple.
I say one of these 3 guys...
Ukic,
Granger,
Graham.

Re: Less than 48 hours till draft time...
draft party at my house! Its sad, the NBA draft is my favorite night of TV all year...(well except maybe the superbowl and celt playoff games) my top 3 in no order would be:
Taft
Felton (assuming a huge unlikely Paul Pierce-esque slide)
Garcia

Re: Less than 48 hours till draft time...
Roko Leni Ukic is the best PG from Europe in last 20 years. He has everything and he will be rookie all star next year.
Ukic is from Split, native town of Kukoc and Radja a he is the BEST PICK for Boston, without any question.
You will see...Believe me..

Re: Less than 48 hours till draft time...
Here is my list of hopefuls, on this I can't count Diogu, or May because I just don't believe that Ainge would have any interest in 6-8 Power Forwards:
1. Villanueva- too much upside to pass on if there
2. Warrick- Probably won't get past NJ at 15
3. Ukic- Pick only if top 2 are already gone
4. Taft- Could be top talent if he really wants to
5. Petro- Kind of athleticism that Ainge likes

Re: Less than 48 hours till draft time...
Well its hard to predict assuimg there isnt a plethora of early draft deals. Without Rumors influencing my decisions:
I would say the Celtics draft either:
Sean May
Ike Diogu
Roko Ukic
Hakim Warrick
or
Jarret Jack

1) mccants
2) villanueva
3) m andwertuweruierus
4) korolev
and granger or felton falls out of the top 10 i would love to see ainge trade up to nab him (banks + 18 for felton?)

May, Diogu, Jack, Ukic, Bynum
Of course, should Granger, Graham, Felton, or other lotto guys fall, then go with them.

Re: Less than 48 hours till draft time...
Jarrett Jack does fit the Ainge profile (high school bigs and college guards) more than Ukic does. Of course the irony of this situation is that in my mock, posted in the draft forum, I have the Celtics taking Diogu at 18 with May, Jack and Ukic being the three prior picks. In the second, I see Ainge going with Orien Greene (LA Lafayette 6-5, PG) and Alan Anderson (Michigan State SG/SF).
