Re: Paul Pierce could be moved on Draft Day
I have a sneaking suspicion that Tony Allen or Ricky Davis will be moved tomorrow to move up....just call it a hunch....

Payton is already gone. Walker will probably be dealt in a sign and trade sometime in July. The only thing I see happening besides a Pierce deal is one involving one or two of the second round picks in a combination trade with Lafrentz, Blount, or Davis and moving up into the late first round or getting early 2nd round picks.

Re: Paul Pierce could be moved on Draft Day
i highly doubt that ainge will unload either lafrentz or davis just to move into the late first/early 2nd round...they each played approximately 30 minutes a game last year...they have much more value to the team than a late first/early 2nd rounder.
i think aside from a pierce move, the most likely player to be moved is marcus banks...this draft is very deep in PGs, and considering the celtics are very weak there, danny may want to draft one, giving us three young PGs, and possibly forcing out banks or west, with banks being the likely choice. there are 2 reasons that lead me to believe that banks would be dealt over west 1) he has more value 2) i keep hearing about how much the organization loves west, he's going to be the next bibby, etc...and i haven't heard much hype at all about banks. plus banks was already traded once...it shows that danny isn't that reluctant to let him go.
i'm not saying i think banks will get traded on draft day, but i think it's a distinct possibility.

frankly, im sick of us drafting young pgs then trading them and drafting more young pgs...billups, forte, banks, west...we need to stick with one and ride it out...its SHOULD have been billups but i know thats easy to say afterward...now we have to stick with banks or we'll never have a pg with any experience on our team

I agree, this year it's Banks, next year will be West, when will the madness stop?
