I'm not a big West fan, but I can't take anything away from his husteling ability and work ethic. I do hope he proves me wrong and becomes a part of the C's rotation. Honesly, as long as we win, I don't care who starts---as long as Banks remains the best player.

Well I agree on the fact that as long as we win it is all good. I personally think that Banks is to clumsy when he plays basketball, he trys to take over the game although he is young and can not run an NBA team.

Re: Official Summer League Team
i feel delonte is better off startin at the point than banks..Marcus is Quick an a good player On the defensive side..but delonte plays hard an tuff D an chances down loose boards...has a shot that we Desperately need from deep an i think he will be could because there beens talks of him workin hard to go right as well as he can go left an constantly in the wait room an Also tryna penetarte better..He knows what he needs to do..he knows what ainge wants of hima n he will do it...WEST will start..

Thank you despite what everyone else seems to think I believe Delonte will start. It seems that Rivers likes him more than he does Banks and I think Delonte is better. No point in arguing because we can all have our opinions

No, you're not. There are plenty of Banks lovers on here. I am just surprised you're the only one explaining your grief. Once again, Banks doesnt fit in the oversall structure of the Celtics and will be in line in a combination plan with Blount or LaFrentz; mark my words.
In response to the Celtics Summer league roster; They should have an excellent showing in the summer games and show you plenty of promise, cohesion and team offensive play. I LOVE the additions of Bynum and Coppenrath to the team. Strong chance they wont make the opening season roster but could show good production and get sent to the NBDL with Orien Greene....West should start at point. Why is this an issue again?!

Banks is a fast-break point guard that plays hard defense. The Celtics are aiming to be a fast-break team that play hard defense.

I was under the impression that the best point guard should start.
I don't know how West is "the best" point guard when Banks is the better offensive and defensive player. Care to refute that?
