Now you've done it!!!
I feel sorry for Scalabrine.
Can't be easy to be him.

Can't be easy?
being set for life financially when you don't deserve it certainly can't be that hard
I would care less about what people who I don't know say about me if I'm guaranteed 15 million dollars over the next five years.

That's if they don't release him.
He got booed so much that he left the game with a red face.
I still wouldn't want to be him.

Banner said it. And Catsfan, if he's released (which he won't be) he still gets paid, so he'll get $15 mill for doing even less than he currently is.

If he's released, the Celtics gain a roster spot.
Hopefully, we can arrange for a buyout or ideally, someone would trade for him along with a '06 first round draft pick (if the Celtics manage to have two this season before Atlanta takes one meaning Boston would have no picks this season). This team would be about three million dollars under the cap, of course.

Boston must have at least one 1st round to themselves before the pick gets into the Suns' hands.
Also, Veal makes 2.5 million.

Re: Article: A Big Waste of Green...lmao
I understand.
The Suns would acquire one of Boston's two selections (according to the most likely scenario) and then the Celtics would trade the remaining selection to unload Scalabrine. If all it takes is a first-round selection in a horrible draft to remove an albatross, than I would be all for it.

Actually I think I could be able to live with Veal if we can get rid of Raef....

Re: Article: A Big Waste of Green...lmao
Raef IS taking 3 times the cap space. And Blount over 2 times the cap space.
Don't get me wrong, I want Scalabrine gone.
Like yesterday.
Maybe it's my pride as an athlete talking. But I can't imagine stepping out on my home court to that kind of reception.
I'd be like, here, take the money back, just let me outta here.
