Greene, to PG or not to PG...
...that is the question.
After watching Greene tonight vs the Raptors I've come to realize that this guy is also not a PG. He's a hustle player, who's got some PG instincts but not someone I want to lead the club with.
He's got very good size, he's very athletic, can take it to the hoop, and a terror on defense.
Yet I still don't see him playing PG very much. His handle scares me a lot, even if he makes good decisions. Obviously we don't have another backup for Delonte (good time to make a move Danny seeing as Delonte got injured...) but when/if we can get someone to fill that role, I would definitely like to keep Greene and let him play some shooting guard.
Now, yes I do understand that he's a crappy shooter, but I believe that he can do a lot of stuff that Tony Allen did for us last season; hustle, play good D, get clutch rebounds, and clean up the board, as well as some more things that I've mentioned above. In fact, I believe that he could be the version of Tony Allen which we thought we'd get this year, but failed to see due to "some" injury.
