Re: What is Pierce thinking?
Does Pierce even have a girlfriend or does he just go around to parties hitting up the ladies?

Re: What is Pierce thinking?
Just because he took a picture with her doesn't mean he did anything with her. I'm sure he could bag any chick he wants in Boston.
The man likes to party. As long as it doesn't interfere with him on the court, who cares?
By the way, memo to Paul Pierce: you're making 15 mill a year. Stop dressing like a bum.

Re: What is Pierce thinking?
I'm guessing that he was just totally drunk and/or high and has no idea what's going on in this picture.
Is that dude in the Colt's jersey lighting a bowl?

How can you make the argument that his partying DOESN'T interfere with his play. In the off-season, I could see the argument, but during the season, with the amount of money these guys are being paid, hard partying makes you look like a joke. You can't say it doesn't affect you when you could be getting rest, working out, etc.

Say he has the weekend off. Gets wasted Friday night, uses Saturday as a hang-over day, and he's ready to rock and roll by Sunday, at the most. Another argument I can make is Paul Pierce, by all accounts, is a huge partier, and he's the second best 3 in the NBA. Maybe if he didn't party so much he'd be better than 'Bron. Yeah, if he took those days to pump some iron or work on his FT stroke, maybe he'd be averaging 30/7/7 too. You are just ridiculous.
So I guess because these guys are getting paid to do what they love, they must be robotic. No fun outside of basketball. Got the weekend off and wanna let off some steam on Friday night? Hell no. Go to bed at 8 o'clock. Wake up early. Work out. Eat well. Gimme a break. Basically, what you're saying is they aren't allowed to party - ever.
Why is it okay during the offseason? Shouldn't they be training hard for the next season? Once again, gimme a break. These guys aren't robots. You want them to play ball and only ball/ball related training all season? That's the real joke here.
Now, if your argument was "night before the game" stuff, then I could see your point. But guess what? Pierce being a Top 10 player in the NBA shoots holes all over your "argument" (a term I use very, very loosely here). Maybe he would've had 20 straight games of 30+ instead of just 14 out of 16. What a slacker.
