Please refrain from attacking fellow posters. You know better. - Premier
It'd most likely be West and Veal for Mo Pete.
I'm sorry Prem

That's still not worth it. Why would Pierce want that guy?

Re: Mo Pete for.........
Because Wally Szczerbiak struggles to keep Ira Newble from scoring 20? Meaning that Pierce gets the toughest defensive assignments every single night? Mo Pete isn't great, but he's an upgrade from Wally on defense while still scoring a Szczerbiakian 17 p/g. In other words, Pierce gets an occasional night off defensively with Mo Pete.

We were fine offensivly, and we're expected to be fine this year, and by trading away one of our best defenders for an amazing offensive threat (and we we're one of the worst teams in defence), I'm not sure how that would make us better

Whoa, in whose eyes other than Celtic fans are Jefferson and Green considered "top flight prospects"?

We usually like to overrate our talent...by alot. (I'm serious).
But I must say, both Al and Green have the potential to have a great future in the league.

i agree with aqua...celts fans do overrate our talent and team alot...but in 99.9% of ppls minds green is the highest flight prospect there is...u wouldnt be questioning it if he went number 5 to portland...just cuz he slipped in the draft doesnt make him any less of a prospect..and i would put big al on the B list of "prospects" but im more sketchy when it comes to him reaching his ceiling...either way mo pete isnt worth either of them...ill offer u...damn there really isnt much id offer from the celts for mo pete...tony allen went thru my mind but truthfully id rather have allen than peterson...allen is already 10x the defender peterson is so i can deal with him not having an offensive game...u can keep mo pete

Why would the Raptors want Allen?
I'm sure we could use MoPete, but it's hard to give up one of our young guys for him. Obviously that's what it would take.
For MoPete, Telfair, Green and Jefferson are untouchable.*
Gomes, Perkins, West are way too much.*
Allen, Ray and Rondo are borderline too much.*
*From the Celtics point of view, of course.
