Re: Celtics want more stable rotation this year

I don't expect Rivers to implement much stability into the rotation until after the ASG, as with new players that are marginally better or worse than current rotation players, it takes many games to find out which combination works. For example, Rivers may use Rondo in favor of Tony Allen to see how it works. The starting lineup will be nearly a constant, I would expect, with either Telfair or West winning the point guard job and Gomes locking down the PF spot unless Jefferson improves drastically.

I still feel that the West - Pierce - Szczerbiak - Gomes - Perkins - Telfair - Jefferson - Allen - Ratliff rotation is what we'll see for the last thirty games.

Re: Celtics want more stable rotation this year

I disagree with Green....I think he's better than everyone thought and I think he's too good to sit on the bench this year.....and Tony Allen will play spots as the defender but I really think he's done with this team, his 4th year not being picked up was a telling sign. Someone of the young guys has to go and it's gonna be TA
