Ainge can't even tank properly. Awful season.
Nice to see Perkins match Al's performance over the last few months. He's finally getting a good amount of rebounders. Al and Pierce are doing their thing, too.

Re: [68] - Celtics [20-47] at Bobcats [25-41]
Pierce sitting on the bench this long is Doc's subtle way of tanking the season.

Did you see his eye? I don't even think he can see out of it

Clearly we gave up in the fourth quarter.

Re: [68] - Celtics [20-47] at Bobcats [25-41]
Paul was fine. Doc explanation was that he wanted to teach everyone a lesson. Basically he said that he was tired of players *****ing about playing time and gave it to them. He said (I'm not quoting by the way) that he wanted to show them a lesson that they don't neccesarily deserve the time.

Re: [68] - Celtics [20-47] at Bobcats [25-41]
i dont believe doc said that...he said that he was going up and down the bench asking his staff what do we get out of this if we put paul and al in the game and win it...he said im not agreeing or disagreeing) that he wanted to win or loose the game with the players out there...apparently he thought there was more to gain by winning with the second string that with the first string...maybe he was right but i dont think he was trying to show any players that they dont deserve minutes

Re: [68] - Celtics [20-47] at Bobcats [25-41]
From what they showed on our broadcast everytime they zoomed in on Pierce he could barely keep his eye open. I mean maybe he can play like that but what i've noticed is it pretty hard to play without being able to see
Don't know what Gerald was doing on the play. I've never seen him make a dirty play before but that was clearly an attempt at Pierce

Re: [68] - Celtics [20-47] at Bobcats [25-41]
I didn't particularly think that it was a dirty play, there was no particular incentive that I saw earlier in the game, but of course maybe there was some history. On the Pierce playing again issue, Doc was quoted after the game as saying that he could have played again (without prompting I might add) and that he just chose not to play him.

Pitiful...what a obvious tank job. Don't you fellas find this disgraceful? Here is to hoping the Celtics end up with #3.
Of course Ainge may trade whatever pick he gets for a undersized all flash PG and a injury prone Center.
