If you have uncertainties about the Celtics [team stats] trade for Ray Allen, you have company. Though ready to do what is necessary, the former All-Star didn’t have an unabashed joy with the move.

“I think it’s exciting,” Allen said late last night. “I’m excited about it. I won’t say whether I like it or dislike it. It’s a challenge for me. But, you know, people talk about being traded and I still get to play basketball and do the job I love.

Allen may not be the best solution for the Celtics, but I think he'll fit in better than KG, JO, or Marion simply because he wants to be here. Now let's just pray he, Pierce, and Jefferson stay healthy.
A healthy season would be great.

I'm not sure why the article's title says he's lukewarm about the trade. He said he was excited 3 times and talked about all the ways he can help the team. The only thing he said that was lukewarm was that he couldn't say if he liked or disliked it, but I think he just said that because he won't know until he actually plays with the team.

Even though I'm gonna have to find a way to get NBA TV and watch all of the Sonic's games because of Delonte, I'm not too bummed for Ray.
