That's awesome. I think Ray Allen is not only a great player but a great guy. He's a 7 time All-Star, but you rarely hear a complaint from him. He just comes in and does his job. If we do end up keeping Gerald, I think Ray will be a great mentor to him. Gerald is better suited as a spot up shooter than a slasher like Pierce.
Allen may not be the best solution for the Celtics, but I think he'll fit in better than KG, JO, or Marion simply because he wants to be here. Now let's just pray he, Pierce, and Jefferson stay healthy.

While I don't doubt that Pierce is happy, I don't trust anything that comes out of Ainge's mouth. I'll wait for a direct quote from Pierce.
