That would be too good to be true. When the Herald first broke the official news, for about 15 minutes they didn't have Gomes in the package and I was Extatic. I think he's the perfect bench player and really had hoped there was a way to hold onto him.

The chance of him coming back this year is ZERO. He as a free agent though would be the first person I'd target if I was Ainge for 2009
