On the contrary: Walker relieved to be a T-Pup
Quote:
After arriving in Minnesota, Walker sounded relieved with his fresh start — even if contending for a playoff spot with the Timberwolves looks like a huge long shot.
Though Walker said he had a good time in Miami, he voiced his frustration Friday that coach Pat Riley went public with his criticism of Walker's weight.

Sounds like he's staying put.

I am going to laugh if you buy that jersey and he gets released or traded.

I feel like I'm in bizarro world with Antoine being traded for Davis and Blount. Even worse, Heat fans are excited to get Blount.

^Blount was solid for Minny last year. Even KG will attest to that

We know Blount doesn't rebound, plays disinterested defense, and has terrible hands. Still, you think he'll be worse than Toine in Miami? Blount put up a PER of 12.7 last year vs. Toine's 9.6. So yeah, we're pretty excited for a trade in which we ship out a bad player (and 2 nearly useless ones) for 2 significantly better players.

Re: On the contrary: Walker relieved to be a T-Pup
I think the only thing that Heat fans are excited about with Blount is hes ability to hit the mid/long range ball. Its very important in our team that big guys can hit that shot and he seems to have real good range. We know he cant rebound, but hey - with Shaq there perhaps the bigger body boxing out will help him get a few boards.
And yes - we are extremely happy Walker is gone.

Yea dude so the fact many celticd fans hoped he got bought out is just plain idiotic. I don't care how willing he was to wear the green.

As bad as Antoine may be, Blount is not significantly better than anyone. He's ****ing Blount.
