Re: Game 8: Miami Heat (1-7) @ Boston Celtics (7-0)
I always record the games, so I don't watch them in real time and therefore don't post during them. I get to do other things while the game is going on and then I can fast forward through timeouts, free throws, and half time. I love my DVR.
I was disappointed in Ray Allen's play toward the end. He was over dribbling and made some costly turnovers. He did make some great plays, but I think the ball should have been in Rondo's hands more. Rondo played a great game, and I was especially impressed with his jumper near the end when he put them ahead by four. That was pretty clutch.
That game should never have been so close, and we were lucky to pull out a win. I hope they fix some things by Sunday, or else I think we'll be looking at our first loss. Orlando is playing much better than the Heat and is tearing it up on the road.

Re: Game 8: Miami Heat (1-7) @ Boston Celtics (7-0)
I reject all of the claims by the media and any posters here that this was supposed to be some blow out Cs win because the Heat are as bad as an expansion team.
Total # of games the Heat had played before last night with Wade in their starting 5? 0.
So, the actual Miami Heat, not the shadow that started the season, is now merely 0-1 after a close road loss to the Cs, one of the best teams in the NBA-- and that's about right.
This was a great game for them to play before facing the Magic. They will be plenty sharp for that game because they just played another great team.

Wow Heat with D-Wade went toe to toe with the Celtics.

The Heat with DWade just beat the Nets in East Rutherford, New Jersey (and BC's Sean Williams has announced to the league that he is a force of nature: 22 points on 7 for 11 shooting and 8 out of 10 from the charity stripe, with 8 boards, 2 steals, and 2 blocks-- the steal of the draft).

Re: Game 8: Miami Heat (1-7) @ Boston Celtics (7-0)
I was away for the weekend so i missed this one, i knew it was a danger game with wade coming back into the line up...
I'll just be happy that we kept the streak running, hopefully the close call will make them step up next game
