Game 8: Miami Heat (1-7) @ Boston Celtics (7-0)
Coming in: Miami visits Boston on the heels of their seventh loss of the year and a scathing criticism by coach Pat Riley, who thinks he should suit up. Wade will be back for the second game of the year but it's unclear as to whether he will start on the floor. Boston pummeled New Jersey on Wednesday and looks to stay undefeated.

"I think he is at a point in his career where he gets very distracted by having a hand in his face."
- Portland forward Buck Williams on Larry Bird, before Larry Legend dropped 49 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists in a double overtime win

D-Whistle looks rock solid out there so far. Garnett with more than half the C's points.

That's a terrific play by Rondo.

Re: Game 8: Miami Heat (1-7) @ Boston Celtics (7-0)
This was a good test for the Cs tonight. The Heat still play physical defense and they are making the Cs shoot jumpshots and not wanting to allow anything inside. If Allen can stay hot, he can have a big game. Pierce can shoot well, too.

I think we're playing tight. Like we're scared to break the winning streak.

WTF happened to this forum? Four posts in a GT when Boston's 7-0?
Are you joking me right now?

That's it.
Scrubaline is a brutal basketball player. It's not even just his salary anymore. It's him being an abomination to the game of basketball.

Re: Game 8: Miami Heat (1-7) @ Boston Celtics (7-0)
Not sure they deserved it (blowing a 15 point lead in the 4th), but Pierce came up big again. 8-0. Not bad.

Pierce's clutchness and overall game goes so unnoticed by NBA fans...
