Re: Game 14: New York Knicks (4-9) at Boston Celtics
Its 52 now. I forgot this game was on.
This is something else.
Currently on TNT, Barkley is talking about Isiah being the scapegoat. Well...he built the team and he coaches them. How is it not his fault?

Well done, Celts. I'm a big fan of anyone who massacres the Knicks.
Welcome back to TNT, btw. (Not that the Raptors are ever on TNT, of course... )

Anyone know what comments Quentin Richardson said about the Celtics before the game?

"It's not that big a deal to us. It's like the media makes more of The Big Three and all of them. We're not in awe of them. They ain't won no championships. They have a good record right now, but that don't matter."

Re: Game 14: New York Knicks (4-9) at Boston Celtics
I have never seen a more pathetic performance than what the Knicks displayed tonight. Not only should Thomas be fired, but the whole team should, with the exception of maybe Balkman. As horrendous as last year's Celtics were, they at least played hard. How these guys can accept their multi-million dollar salaries and play like they don't even know how to play the game is beyond me. It'd be nice to give the Celtics all the credit, but I can't do that. The Knicks were bad across the board. The Celtics won the fourth quarter with Pruitt, House, Davis, Scal, and Powe on the floor for most of it. The whole country got to see the debacle. I know the Knicks are capable of playing better. They beat Utah somehow. But no team should ever play a single game like this one. There was just no emotion, positive or negative. Just apathy.
But on a positive note, the Celtics took full advantage. They held Randolph and Curry to a combined 3 for 21. They had 27 assists on 37 baskets and only committed 6 turnovers. Rondo took the shots he was supposed to take and made over half of them. Big Baby showed more hustle than the entire Knicks team. Ray played a solid all around game. I was a little concerned about Pierce until he started raining down threes. His shot the past couple games has looked really off. So much that I thought he might be injured and not telling anyone. But those threes looked good, so maybe it was just a prolonged slump.
On a sad note, Garnett's streak of consecutive games scoring in double figures finally came to an end courtesy of the Knicks not requiring Garnett to do much, thereby limited his time to less than 23 minutes. Stupid Knicks. Though it's good to be able to rest him for tomorrow.

With a team high 11 points.....Nate Robinson
Seriously, I hope everyone stops talking about the Knicks as a playoff team now.

Re: Game 14: New York Knicks (4-9) at Boston Celtics
I think I enjoyed the look on Thomas's face the most.
I'm not so much gloating on the knicks players, I just think Thomas deserves whatever he gets.
Love the way our team is looking.
