Kendrick Perkins under the assumption that he's a part of the Big 3.

BOSTON—Celtics center Kendrick Perkins is operating under the assumption that he is one of the team's "Big Three" players, as evidenced by his post-game comments, a recent Sports Illustrated interview, and the fact that he shouts "Big Three, baby!" while holding up three fingers after every basket he makes. "Any time you put Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and myself, Kendrick Perkins, on a court together, you're going to win a bunch of games—but let's not forget there are two other guys on this team, and their names are Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett," Perkins told reporters after his seven-point, two-rebound performance Sunday night. "In fact, if Kevin continues to play the way he's been playing, you may just have to start calling us the 'Big Four.'" Perkins added that this "Big Three" incarnation is even better than 2004's version, which he says included himself, Paul Pierce, and Raef LaFrentz.

Its one game dude, slow down.
I didn't see the game, but its a good stat line for Davis. He has shown some serious skills off the bench, but Perk is still the right guy to start. They need a rebounder, a tough guy, and someone who can move into the open space in the paint and finish strong. That is Perkins. Davis is going to be a terrific guy off the bench.

I've been drinking, and thats the funniest thing I've heard all day. Good to see the guy has a great sence of humor. Either that or hes just straight ****ing crazy. Either or is funny.

Perk may also do better off the bench. Some players suck more when they start. Perkins can block but he also could be better so they should try a new experiment with Davis starting to at least see how it goes.

At 18-2, I don't think your team needs to "see how it goes", because I think things are going pretty well.
