Beginning of the End?
I dont wish injuries on anyone but...Ray Allen pinched nerve is giving him discoloration in his fingers. He is going in for a CT scan. That sounds not good at all.Even if he is out for an extended period of time obviously the Celtics will still be good but not what they are with him. If there are any injuries to the Boston three party this team isn't going to get far. 33 years old isn't exactly young in NBA standards...
BTW when I say "Beginning of the End?" I'm referring to you guys winning a championship, not contending.

Re: Beginning of the End?
It's probably a herniated disc, but that's not really the big deal that it was 30 years ago.

Re: Beginning of the End?
Every member of the big three is critical, but I think Allen's loss would be easiest to recover from (as opposed to losing Pierce or Garnett).

Re: Beginning of the End?
We'd be much better off losing Pierce than Allen. Whose going to take a shot to win the gmae when we can't get the ball into Garnett? Pierce? lmao. Anyway, we'll have to wait for the results of the scan obviously

Re: Beginning of the End?
we are definately best off losing AlLen if anybody... obviously we dont want anyone to get into injury troubles though.
al reports so far are just a severe pinched nerve, now in january i have no idea how you could see that as any sort of "beginning of the end"
still just other fans grasping straws

Re: Beginning of the End?
He actually said he felt great before the Bobcats game, but Doc rested him anyway. If it becomes a recurring problem, then we can start to worry.

We need Pierce a lot more than we need Allen.
He gets more points, rebounds, assists, steals and free throw attempts than Allen. He shoots a higher FG% and an identical 3p%. Allen shoots a higher FT% but he barely takes any free throws. He is also more durable.
Why don't you back up your argument with some facts instead of just speaking out of your love for Allen.

i know you like allen...but you relly need to rethink comments like this...i love antoine but im not silly enough to say toine is better than KG or something like that...its a consenus "yes" that pierce is more important to this team than ray allen

Allen and Pierce are both more than capable of nailing a clutch shot, but Pierce without a doubt is a bigger threat on the court. Either that just give the ball to Garnett for the game winner.

Re: Beginning of the End?
Speaking of crunch time shots that has hurt us a lot this season, the decisions to Run Pierce and Allen for simple iso plays simply isnt working.
Oh and on topic, something is definately wrong with RA
