Against pressure D when Rondo is out it really shows we need a back up... I'd take GP at this point

If we aren't going to sign a backup PG, then I think Doc should give serious consideration to playing Pruitt sometimes when Rondo's out. Not a lot, but when the offense is sputtering, the kid can at least shoot the ball. He's got to be a better dribbler than Tony Allen, too. I cringe when he puts the ball on the floor. Tony is definitely valuable defensively, but he just can't run the point very well.

Who cares if GP is too old. We don't need him to do anything other than not turn the ball over in the backcourt. And I think he probably still has enough left in the tank to do that.

Pretty much, we just need someone who is used to handling the ball and wont turn it over when pressured... something GP has been doing for 20 years, that is one of the things he wont have lost just because hes old

What happened to Earl Boykins? He could fit in the role nicely, but wouldn't sign for a minimum contract probably...
