The Wizards have been surprisingly good since Arenas has gone out, if we can contain Butler and Jamison, hopefully Perkins doesnt let Haywood have a big game we should win this convincingly.
Be nice to get our offense back in order against a team not renowned for its defense
41-40 to the Wiz at the half... another half *** effort, pierce, ray and tony are all over-dribbling when they are getting doubled resulting in a stack of turnovers.
allowing them far too many offensive boards too
half *** the entire game save for about 7-8 mins in the 3rd quarter and then dont hustle at the end to finish them off.
Ray took horrible shots down the stretch and didnt even score in the 4th, Garnett only with 2 and Pierce with a meaningless 3 at the end.
However, that shot clock violation (or lack there of) call from the refs completely changed the momentum of the game, we would have had a shot to tie it but instead Washington was gifted another posession (normally the refs dont bother me but replays showed it was blatently obvious)
meh, well deserved loss
this team needs to get some energy back or we arent going to continue winning
Didn't watch much of the game, but whenever I flipped over Mike and Tommy were saying how bad the PGs were tonight. If this doesn't prove we really need a backup PG I'm not sure what does. Also the sideline reporter said before the game that Rondo is the only person who knows all the offensive sets...that's really not good.
I dont think they have peaked... they have still only been together for 35 games, they have just been in a slump for a few games now.... its a long season, iron out some of the creases, we'll be fine.
Payton not looking like such a bad idea anymore though, we could also use an athletic big
