Scalabrine
I have to ask. Does anyone have any idea why Doc keeps starting Scalabrine in place of KG while he's out? He's gotten three starts for a grand total of 3 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in 55 minutes. I think Posey, Powe, and Big Baby should all be playing before Scal. Those guys play harder and produce more. We're trying to make up for the absence of KG here. Nobody can do that, but Scal isn't even coming close. I could understand if we were short on bodies, but against the Mavs and Magic, Big Baby didn't even play. That boggles my mind.

Re: Scalabrine
Because hes a vet, knows his role, Doc trusts him etc etc....
Not that i agree with ANY of it.... perfect opportunity to get Davis back on the court, using a 4 man rotation on Perk/Posey/Powe/Davis while Garnett was out would give everyone an opportunity to contribute, Scal should be used in blowouts to appease the crowd only

Re: Scalabrine
I honestly think we would have beaten Orlando if Big Baby had played instead of Scal or Powe and Posey had taken more of the minutes. That was 22 minutes of non-production. Sure, there were lots of other factors in the loss, but a power forward can't take and miss one three and grab a single rebound in 22 minutes and not hurt the team.

Re: Scalabrine
Yeah... and i do see him trying, he hustles and plays some d... knows the offense etc
but he doesnt contribute a whole lot of anything, and especially when other players are getting buried i dont know why he's out there

Re: Scalabrine
He's not the best player but he give you 110% every singe time he plays, so I don't mind seeing him around. I don't really agree with him starting though.
