Is the sense of magic with this team still there for people or has it become routine? 61 games into the season, I'm still amazed at how we're playing. We've won as many games as we did the last time we went to the ECF, and we still have 21 games still left to play. It's still hard to believe. I'm so used to expecting the team to collapse and fall back into bad habits. Sure, they stray occasionally, but they quickly bounce back. After the three game losing streak, they've followed it up with 8 straight wins and counting, including one against the Pistons. They're 19-3 against the West. No, they haven't won a championship yet, but this season will still be the best it has been in over 20 years regardless of the outcome. And the best part is how great a group of guys this is. Even opponents are happy to see them winning. This is just the most fun I've had watching Celtics basketball (I wasn't in Boston in the 80s and was too young to remember much). I hope it doesn't become boring for me. I don't think it will as long as the passion is there, and I don't think these guys will lose it with KG around.
The thing that I'm a bit surprised at is our mentality. I love to see Garnett bark and scream after a dunk or block, and Glen Davis join in on it after an and 1. Its also great to see Pierce pounding his chest after hitting a bunch of shots in a row, and to see Rajon dunking on Maxiell and Davis and Garnett coming over and rooting him on. Our guys never seem shaken and play with superb confidence and hustle. They are all great teammates, never throwing anybody under the bus and always cheering like crazy on the bench. That makes the winning so much better.

In my years in Milwaukee and Seattle, I have never experienced something quite like this. We had one spectacular season in Seattle, but it wasn't comparable to this. Anything short of a Finals visit is going ot be a complete disappointment though, which is weird, because in years past I was happy just for a playoff birth
This Boston Celtics team is an inspiration to me as a fan. I love everything about this group of guys, and their love for the game. Boston fans have the best team in the league. And this is all coming from a Kobe/LA guy. Enjoy it you deserve it. What a great season now, and in the makings.

That game against the Bobcats was something special. I think it was a great bondage moment for the team. For me, it was definitely something special, one of the best moments I've ever witnessed live.
Yeah maybe, but for some reason I got a sadistic sense of Euphoria seeing all those disappointed Bobcats fans watch helplessly as the last shot went through the bottom of the net. And what made it even funnier was that they were so sure they had won the game!
I'm torn. It's satisfying to silence an opposing team's crowd, but it's also very satisfying to make your home crowd erupt by pulling a victory from the jaws of defeat. Just imagine if that had been a game 7 in the finals in the Garden against the Lakers.
Yeah for an important Playoff game you'd definitely want the miraculous buzzer beater to be at home. I'd probably actually feel sorry for the opposing fans if that had been game 7 in the finals against the lakers at Staples.
Still loving every moment of it as much as the first game... i had one great run in Minny with KG/Sam/Spree but it was mostly dis-appointment and anger at management, seeing these guys together and the team as a whole performing like it is definately doesnt get old for me
