New Orleans Hornets (49-21) @ Boston Celtics (56-15)
This game is the final game against an elite team. After tonight we play 9 out of 10 teams under .500 therefore this game would be a nice statement to finish off the season.

Hornets @ Celtics
60-56 Hornets at the half.
I feel we've played great basketball. The Hornets have just played better.
Pierce and Garnett both have 13, and Rondo has 11.
We gotta stop Peja and Paul.

Re: Hornets @ Celtics
Did the announcers just say the MVP was:
1. Paul Pierce
2. Kevin Garnett
3. Ray Allen
And then say that Lebron James and Kobe Bryant should be out of the MVP race? LOL

No, they said Kobe, LeBron, Chris Paul, Garnett, and Pierce.

Re: Hornets @ Celtics
60-56 N'awlins at the half, Boston wins by 20. Now we've reached the extended exhibition season with a six game lead on Detroit, seven and a half on N'awlins, and eight games on Houston & LA. Time to get ready for the march through the postseason.

Re: Hornets @ Celtics
Great win by the C's tonight. You really sent a message to the Hornets, and the rest of the West. Celtics are the best in the NBA.
I was a bit surprised how much West forced the action in the 3rd quarter. That really cost the Hornets. And the C's PG can play Paul pretty evenly if not better. C's really spanked the Hornets in the second half beating them by 20.

Tommy said Pierce is his choice for MVP with Garnett second. He said Ray Allen's contributions should be recognized, but I don't think he meant as an MVP. I think he realizes that neither one will be MVP, but that it's not really fair. It's kind of like when two actors are nominated for an Oscar for the same movie. They kind of cancel each other out and somebody else wins.
