From Worst to First, and With One Arm Tied Behind their Backs

Or maybe two, as they sat all three of the big three tonight as they set a new single-season turnaround mark of 37 wins. Even more impressive, unlike the '98 Spurs, the Celtics have gone from 24 wins to the best record in the NBA (at this point they'd have to go 0-6 and Detroit win out the slate for the Pistons to tie them for best record). They may even become the 13th squad in NBA history to win 65 games, a worst to all time great turnaround. So let's all take a moment to give thanks to the men that turned this squad from a laughingstock into a team that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the '73 and '86 Celtics. To Paul Pierce for putting up with all the bull**** over the years, and for letting management know that he was getting off the train unless they brought in some vet all stars. To Ray Allen for coming home to New England and helping to bring his old high school friend to Boston so that they could play for a title together. And to Kevin Garnett for coming here and igniting this defense, and doing whatever it took to win. They've been better than anything we ever imagined, I haven't enjoyed Celtics basketball this much in 20 years.

Very impressive. I find it kind of funny that they hit these milestones without any of the big three playing. Granted, it was Charlotte, but Charlotte had beaten the Celtics this season and should have beaten them the first time they met. Rondo, Perkins, and the bench took care of them handily, though. Leon Powe continues to impress. Posey showed how valuable he'll be in the playoffs. I feel bad for Bobcats fans, though. They didn't even get to see any of the big three play, and they still saw their team trounced.

Great Effort from the team minus the big guys, Powe and Posey weere very impressive.

Awesome effort on the turn-around from last season, this team has been even better then people predicted clicking from pretty much word go.
Nice to see Doc giving them some rest before the playoffs
