Well, it was inevitable that J^3 wasn't sticking around after taking Sullinger and keeping Bass and Wilcox on board. Glad we were able to turn him into a competent swingman. Johnson has a good jumper for a guy his size, but that's about it.

Oh, well, that snowballed quickly. They're welcome to Moore and Williams, but I don't like sending out that second rounder as well. Here's to hoping that Lee's just been flying under the radar because he's been on bad teams since he left Orlando.

Bradley has to continue starting right? Then Bass is the glaring weakness kind og. I wonder about how they'll look on the boards relying two rookies and him to help Garnett.

Bradley just underwent his second major shoulder surgery. He's probably not returning until Christmas and it will likely be 2013 before he's back on stride. Courtney Lee has two NBA skills, he's a pretty good defender and he can drain wide open 3s. What were Boston's three biggest needs? A starting quality PF, someone that can hit wide open threes to stretch the floor and a guard taller than 6'2" that can play some defense. Lee fills two of those roles.

This is an excellent signing. It's hard to get a starter this late in the free agent season.
